    Remember that theres hardly been any thaw where rally Will be held. I would guess its mostly packed snow which is covering the roads.

    Should be no problem with studs on the Pirelli's as they are vulcanised into the rubber in manufacture, not added afterwards like Michelin's.

    First run of Friday stage should be full, solid, snow but 2nd pass will have a bit of gravel showing through.

    Dirtfish at the tests said Toyota ran in these conditions (some gravel after 2 runs), but where Hyundai tested the road was watered and surface was frozen ice...
