    You are acting like a child. Gearing is about optimal use of power curve through the rally. The resulting top speed may or may not be of high importance for the team but the most important is power delivery.

    The only way for us fans to judge the team's selection is results. We don't have anything else which is clear. Unfortunately we are not able to extract particular performance influences and most importantly we don't know their engine power charts, hence why we can never know if the team selected their gearing optimally or not. That's what they need to analyse and that is their know-how for the next edition of the event.

    So far Tänak is clearly leading, i.e. there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with their choices.

    and crash-helmets are to absorb external forces towards human heads to avoid serious damages..

    I just said that Ford is not so bad as people say.. and yet you go full philosophy and dictionary..

    So you got to this assumption by looking at a top speed data? By this standard a drag race car would be (wait a minute....) the best rally car!
