Nice to see a manufacturer (well, of tyres ) supported drive! It'll be interesting to see how Hankook get on.

Dont know why he'd just do it as a one-off though. M-Sport maybe want to ensure the teams title against Melvin Evans Motorsport ?

He just did the Pirelli one year, the year the bogey times messed everything up. 2017? As he says, maybe he's just doing this one because of the family history there and quality stages.

Previous BRC media types used to try and hype up one off appearances on many occasions in the past especially when Pirelli were the title sponsors and backed the usual 2nd round in Keilder. Tapio, Mark H and various other drivers were "linked" to championship campaigns when it was patently obvious Pirelli wanted to win their own event!

Great if Matt does come on board however at this stage seeing a current WRC Fiesta as course car in the absence of a WRC event in the UK before the end of the current regs would create more buzz but probably sell less cars for M Sport!
