Will be really tricky rally. It will be interesting to see Mikkelsen's speed, if he still has it. Tough rally, no time to adapt, long time without competition driving, personally I dont think he will win this.
Why he went back to his old co-driver, any info about that?

Ok, I take my words back. No Kopecky, Gryzin, Ostberg and different mistakes from others... but thats rally. He hold his own and still has it.

In SS16: (37 - Molle Amaury / Barral Florian): I have a problem with the car, I don't know, if we make it to the finish. In the stage the bonnet opened and it broke the window.

He's improving. in Fafe it was SS15: (29 - Molle Amaury / Barral Florian): (broken windscreen) We've had problem with car after first stage and forget lock the bonnet after we were working on it. Problem with brakes.

Very solid performance from Mikkelsen indeed. Hasn't lost his speed and he was very consistent at the same time, didn't expect him to do this well.

Fastest drivers were Miklelsen,Breen and Luky.Different level from all else.
pitty that Luky had this penalty,and we didnt watch a battle with tenths,as it was at first stages.

And a question,why these cement roads with V shape are constructed like this,and not the opposite to drian the water at the fields?

The same shape of roads can be seen in French vineyards in the champagne region (search for Rallye Epernay on youtube, sure you'll find some). The drier the ground (to some extent), the better the quality of the grapes is. So in regions that aren't extremely dry they make these kinds of roads. That way more of the water goes down to lower lying fields instead of into the soil in the vineyards.

It's a rookie mistake, maybe a harsh penalty but it's always been like that. The 1' per 1' too early applies not only in rallying but in all kind of navigation sports. No reason why this should be changed. If you check in 5 minutes early, it's because you are really not paying attention.

I agree. It's a harsh penalty, but rules are rules and it has always been like that. Another driver, who suffered this penalty, is Yoann Bonato. He got a 1 minute penalty for checking in too early on the last stage. As a result he dropped from 10th down to the 14th position in the overall classification.

Yes, still got the speed, even if his last real rally in a Rally2 car was in 2017. But being used to Rally1 speed is no draw back I guess.
