[WRC] Monza Rally 2020
The Monza stages (except Grand Prix) have very little to do with circuit racing

@TeemuSuninen
Ciao @acirallymonza !
Driving WRC cars on circuit is going to be so good. All the power and aero makes them fun to drive on the track, can’t wait to experience it again. I've started in circuit racing and hope that'll help me challenge for a good result to end the year.

Suninen drove Monza rally 2 years ago and got clearly beaten by Rossi and won only a single stage.
That's why I don't think he will do well. Don't remember him doing well on WRC SSS either.

That's last year's car (just like Loubet had). Think he might have trouble beating Katsuta with that one.

Arnaud Remy, Rally Manager at Michelin Motorsport, told DirtFish:
“We explained to the FIA the concerns of the teams regarding the stages on Saturday. With that in mind, we will be taking snow tires with us to the event.
These will be snow tires without studs. Maybe they'll go from the Clermont-Ferrand factory to Monza and back to Clermont-Ferrand without getting out of the truck.
This is our last event and we don't want to take any chances. It doesn't matter if we don't use them, we have to have them out there so that we can have a choice. "
Regarding the other possible options for the 2020 Monza Rally, Arnaud Remy clarified:
“The super soft (soft) tire that we are bringing to Rallye Monte-Carlo is much more related to the temperature. It works if it's dry, but very cold, as it can be in Monte Carlo. We don't expect this at Monza. And the difference between a medium and a hard one was not that big. "
Monza is the last round of the season and it makes sense - obviously - that we take these tires and the snow tire as well. We will be ready. "
For what reason? 2WD cars can be faster than 4WD and often they are. It's only about the exact spec. and rules not about being 2WD per se (see Dakar). The issue with GT cars is that they are made...
