Sure. But what I´m trying to say is that one more puncture on stage or before SP makes you out if wearing only one useless spare. You can´t limp on three wheels, or...

There shouldn't be. One only needs to start within 20 secs of their allotted start time, no requirements as to how early one needs to be there.

It seems punctures are not dependant on pace, its pure luck. So why not push? Thierry has nothing to lose and lot to gain.

but who am i to say what he will do. its his choice and i agree he has nothing to lose.
