Dont forget that starting order according to championship will be only half of first day...

Have they announced that? The two Friday stages don't change that?

In Portugal last year he had technnical issues on Friday and then was second on the road on Saturday. It was also amazingly the first time Loeb did the Northern Rally Portugal, which the other drivers had already done quite a few times.

Portugal is one of the fastest and smoothest of these "technical" gravel rallies. I would say Mexico and Catalunya gravel stages (especially Terra Alta) are closer to Turkey.

To say the truth, I dont know exactly. But when I see the itinerary with so few kms, it is possible they will change the order after first leg (ie after 25 km of SS), which is really poor...

Yeah. Actually the FIA Sporting Regulations has been updated with a rule for "2-day format events" where the road order is changed midway through the first day, like in Estonia. But it's a different thing whether Turkey passes as this "2-day format"

Yes, I see. It is not proper two day event, but there is a short "joke" on Friday

Big job for the teams to turn around the cars for Turkey made clear by M-Sport:

"New suspension parts and transmissions will be fitted, alongside additional protection to safeguard against the rough terrain and larger fans and cooling packages to combat the soaring temperatures. The engineers will then fine-tune the set-up and raise the ride height for optimum performance on Turkey’s demanding stages.

    Rich Millener:
“I also want to take this opportunity to praise our team of engineers, technicians, truck drivers and logistics co-ordinators. Travelling from Estonia to Turkey and getting the cars turned around in a matter of days was no easy task, but each and every one of them has risen to the challenge. They’ve all shown the spirit we pride ourselves on here at M-Sport, and I hope to see their hard work rewarded with a strong result.”
