But they can say to the media that the rally runs within the curfew, and that's what matters.

I mostly watch the relive on wrc plus.

After ogier, tanak, evans, kalle, neuville, and maybe suninen i play the next stage.

I can’t pay attention to the paid drivers. 45 sec behind in a stage. Please make room for new talent.

The three hour breaks between loops could surely have been reduced and they wouldnt need these super-early starts ?

There's no corporate people at the SP so why still 3 hours ?

Maybe there are other issues we, as spectators, can't think of. For example, maybe the plane needs time to go back, land, refuel and take-off again.

It seems plan was that no rally car will be on stage between 6pm and 6am. Plus 50 cars will arrive to Monte Carlo on Saturday before 6pm.

The rest of the activities are "invisible" for those not familiar with rally schedule.

It's not a three hour break.

SS5 starts at 9.01. It takes about 15 minutes for the crews to complete it. Then there's a one hour liaison back to the service park. We're talking about 10.20 or something. Then there's a media zone and some regrouping for 30 minutes before entering service at 10:56. Service takes 40 minutes. Then you're already in a hurry to refuel and start SS6 at 12.17, which is preceded a 30-40 minute liaison.

Maybe you could take 30 minutes of media zone / regrouping activity away but I don't think it would be worth the effort.
