Colin McMaster @colmcklein
I've done a little recce of the Sunday stages and I have to say, whoever wins the Power-Stage deserves it. The first 5km [of SS13/15] are fast downhill on full ice.

Very true. One of the reasons British Champonship events were popular with some leading world championship contenders in those days. It was the only way they could see and experience the roads before the RAC Rally, even if the routes in the forests weren't exactly the same.

so only 2 days left until the start.
the SS1 will be very interesting with no shakedown and new tyres for the drivers. I suppose they go with some set-up from the last test or smth like that, so you can either win or lose a lot already on that stage.
Friday has a veeerrryyy early start, first stage already at 6:10, i mean the gravel crew must go to the stages already around 2-4am? And by the time the drivers arrive there is a sunrise and may be completely different conditions, i suppose its also quite dark for the first drivers. Friday has all new stages too as i understand.
Will be quite crazy weekend like always with Monte. Ogier the favourite like always, especially this year after a year in the car now, the other podium places between Tänak, Sordo and Evans. im not underestimating last years winner Neuville, i just dont know what do think when he has a completely new co-driver with who he hasnt driven even a single mile before the rally.#8 Ott Tänak - Martin Järveoja #8

Yes I fear so too, you just need to look at the new cost for tourists to get into Venice and when everyone sees the amount of money being made others will soon follow, and prices will go up. As...
