Tech data for the 4 Rally4 cars as of 2021.

They have different characteristics and numbers - will they be very different in SS speed or evenly matched?

Sulland, after so many years you shall know that if there is something you never take seriously, it's official engine output values of rallycars.

I am a simple man from the rural areas, and I belive everything i read on the internet. Especially if there is a big carfactory that wrote it!

Joking aside, I am very impressed by the outputs of these small engines, and lets hope they are not going where we see engines goes up in smoke all the time!

A Peugeot 208 Rally4 with last years restrictor was tested in a bank and put 234 bhp. I think they choose the 208hp just for marketing reasons!

The main issue i have with these engines is their cost. They push those tiny engines to the limit while they could use a stock engine with the same power that will cost way less and last much longer.

For starter cars i always found that stupid. Make the rules so that they can use whatever stock production engine they want under 200bhp. Seal it after putting it on the test bench so that they are all equal. That would save massively in cost while not making the cars any slower.

My money will be on the Clio, especially on tarmac events (Rally4 field will probably be more leveled on gravel).
