    13.18 Laajavuori 2 SS 24 (8,56 km)
    14.15 Podium Laajavuori

    Quick thoughts:

+ I didn't believe they could get Humalamäki back! It will be a fast stage.
+ Also great to have Arvaja, it will be a great technical stage, Ogier tested on it last year and Hyundai in 2015-2016
+ Double loops on Friday ensure good spectator experience
+ Double Oittila on Sunday ensures it's not just a Sunday drive, it's a demanding stage.

    - Sad to have only Laajavuori and Humalamäki as "classics" for the anniversary year
    - No single-run stages
    - Laukaa, Ruuhimäki, Pihlajakoski, Päijälä and Kakaristo are exactly like last year. Ässämäki and Vesala shakedown are reversed.
    - Sahloinen-Moksi is essentially Surkee from 2010 just extended a bit from the start, this direction was last used in 2011 so new for many drivers.
    - Laajavuori is questionable as a power stage. It's also run as a double loop to make it 8 km long. Good for spectators though.

Well, I´d prefere some more classics west of Jyväskyla, however this is good anyway. Demanding for drivers, spectatorfriendly, but it could become some trafficjam here and there. More possibiltites jumping from stages to stages...

Will Lajavuori stage be strong enough for so many runs...?

No! Weird decision to run it as the Powerstage and what is more then two laps. There is normally no traffic at all and rather sure that the road will be destroyed.

In 2014 they used Laajavuori as shakedown. At the end of shakedown it looked like this:

If it's dry, I wouldn't expect any issues. If it's wet however, could be a different story.

    Anyway, great itinerary!

If you read the description of the route, it says that Laajavuori should go twice on Sunday but in the time schedule it goes as the last stage on Saturday. Does anyone know which one is right?

It's driven once on Saturday, and repeated on Sunday, but the Sunday power stage version is two laps of the stage.

Pity that Finland will elude me again, but that Friday leg looks very spectator friendly, nice to see

for me this is how an itinerary should be – a lot of proper stages (not like mexico), very spectator friendly on friday and also on saturday it’s easy possible to see more than two stages. I don’t like this boring 2 x 3stage format when the starting times are too tight to see more than two stages a day.
