Route is published 20th of February. It's the 70th anniversary event and we should expect "legendary" stages on the route!

Jyväskylä (Tikkakoski) airport is closed that time. (new tarmac for runways)

Helsinki airport. (or if there are directs flights to Tampere then it´s also good choice)

Directly from Helsinki airport you can jump to train which takes you next to service park (2min walk to service park)

It's a long drive from Helsinki airport, but at least you really don't have to worry about traffic, whatever time you arrive.

Any tips on booking a ferry from Talinn to Helsinki? What is better, booking via the company's website (tallink, viking line, eckeroline) or using some sort of search portal for ferries? What about booking one way with one company and return with some other, could that be bad idea for some reason?

Book through the ferry company's website. Easier.

Usually the price doesn't change, if you opt to book one way only with one company.
Never stop dreaming because one day it might happen.

It doesn't matter which ferry company you use. I often use different companies and just because of which suits better with my time schedule. Tallink is usually a bit more expensive but also depends on when you buy the tickets. Price difference might be about 10€ one way. So it is nothing big. If you are sure that you want to go from Tallinn, then don't buy tickets too late, especially when you want to go with a car, because a lot of Estonians will go by car and there is no room.

Yeah agree with above. Also to take in consideration is how fast the ferry will be. Have a nice trip and rally! It is gonna be a big one!

Tallink - fast, better ferryboats, expensive
Viking - uses a very old ferryboat, slower, cheaper
Eckerö - never used it, don't know much about it really
