[WRC] Rally Mexico 2020
The itinerary was published today
- Guanajuato street stage driven twice on Thursday
- Las Minas is driven twice on Friday
- Parque Bicentenario super special returns from 2014
- new Street Stage Leon is only 910 metres long. It would be the shortest stage ever run in the WRC
- Alfaro twice on Saturday and Otates once on Sunday, conversely from last year. These stages probably share most of their route
- Derramadero stage returns for Saturday, probably ends with El Brinco jump
- "Rock and Rally" super special. Length does not match to other super specials...
- New stage(?) San Diego on Sunday
- El Brinco is now the power stage
- 24 stages, of which 9 super specialsLast edited by AnttiL; 19th November 2019 at 08:43.

Route preview: https://itgetsfasternow.com/2020/02/...y-mexico-2020/
It will probably be slightly faster overall route than last year. Street Stage Leon might be the shortest WRC stage ever, but Otates at 33 km is the longest stage of the first half of the season!
The start list isn't out yet, but I would assume the starting order to be the following:
1. Evans
2. Neuville
3. Ogier
4. Rovanperä
5. Lappi
6. Tänak
7. Suninen
8. Sordo

Hyundai announced that they go to Mexico with Neuville, Tänak and Sordo, like expected.

The young champion of the argentinean rally (RC2A class) Martín Suriani will take part of the WRC on Mexico and Argentina with a RSR Clio Rally 5.
He will compete only in these two american races.
you do realize that the power form the hybrid unit is not constant... It's there only for very short periods. So for a first time out it won't make a big differance
