Cant believe the marshall's couldnt put the fire out and Lappi had to drive away still on fire. Poor safety.

I have seen McRae's Focus burning down in Finland and you can't put that sort of fire out. Even the fire squad in Finland didn't succeed. Once the fire takes control it's game over. And it goes so quickly. Nothing you can do about it.

It was right below the middle-rear of the car.... likely some (carbon?) parts touching the exhaust. That would need constant soaking by water over longer time to stop. Like Veiby had in Portugal last year when he stopped right next to a fire truck.
There was no fire truck at the end of this stage.
