Suspect its a typo but I may be wrong! Think its the same guy who used to rally an Escort WRC on events in the North of England in the early 2000s so possibly a hired R5 but will see if I can find out.

I doubt it's an R5 either. The full entry list for the event lists the registration as A14 FCE which ewrc-results.com has listed as an old Escort RS Cosworth plate. The DVLA listing has the date of manufacture of the vehicle as 2011. Without definitive information from somebody who knows the car, it looks to me like a typical UK "home-brew" made from bits of different cars.
