When hiring Rovanperä, Toyota was maybe looking a bit broader timeframe than just this Monte.

I find it a bit strange that on all tirepicks all Toyota and Hyundai drivers except Katsuta pick essentially the same. (only tiny difference was Evans on Friday and it was only 2 tires). Last year you had radical differences quite a few times, as well as Hyundai deliberately picking different setup for each of their drivers.

Some spying going on between them?

He just isnt doing extraordinary good. Perhaps it will get better, but right now i would rather hire ostberg.
Don't see Mads leading the R5 class by a calendar.. Kalle is a future top driver, rally winner and potential WDC.. While Ostberg will 99% never win a rally in WRC and by the speed he is also in the middle..

Last year Elfyn Evans missed these Sunday stages because of his accident on Saturday. Meanwhile Ogier and Neuville were pushing hard on these stages a year ago. #WRClive #WRC #RallyeMonteCarlo

He is good driver, but level of RC4 (or better whole 2WD) on Monte is quite poor...

He was unimpressive in JWRC the past two years, but he has a silly moustache. I like his silly moustache.

Also Alex Kihurani (ex Pastrana?) Is his Co driver.
