Just the way its set up, (and I'm not complaining, I'm very glad we have them) but he's never driven there and been on a proper contract, plus he's always wondering if he / they are going to run the next season.

We will have to see how he gets on in events like Sweden and other gravel events before saying he has made the top 3 a top 4.

But I'm sure everyone wants him to, and Toyota need him to as well if they are to fight for the manufacturers.
toally agreed, every year Evans has these 2-3 events where he is suddenly super fast and consistent but then on the other events he cant maintain that, thats the question for this year too.

Todays performance reminds me Corsica last year, didnt expect him be to that fast there and totally surprised me.

i havent yet watched myself other drivers onboards from that place. But on estonian forum some have and say Ogier and Lappi also had quite hairy moments there.

Lappi was again more direct to YLE reporters. He said he thought the WAT T (Water temperature) warning on SS1 means an electrical issue (BTW Lehtinen also said after Finish line something about voltages) and started switching off lights and stuff. And he can't properly see the steering wheel buttons in the dark. Then on SS2 he had a puncture warning, although there was no puncture.
