When you drive towards the start of SS2, in Bayons you can go left and leave the main road, then you have a small road you can follow (it runs +- parallel with the main road), and it also leads to the start. Last time we used it in 2017 we got very close to the start. Arrived too late to be allowed to walk on the stage however, we went there after the stage was stopped following Paddon's accident, not knowing yet what exactly happened.

These are the two stages you cannot preview on WRC+

    SS1 https://youtu.be/wbSbkhV-dsc
    SS4+7 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0F_BCkq8BJg

Look at SS4+7 at 7:00, it's crazy fast

On SS4/7 the righthander just after 8min will be an epic spot to watch.

To take the parallel road was already the plan, but thanks for the confirmation!
How long before did you arrive when you where not allowed to walk there?

I'm not sure anymore, I think approximately 40 minutes before the stage started, which is quite late nowadays, in WRC... If you arrive more than 1,5 hours in advance I wouldn't expect any problems.

Yes, also long view of the cars on the fields.

The passings of villages at the beginning of the stage are super narrow and tricky. There should be more of those at the end of the stage.

Interesting. You think they'll be flat through there, or having to lift, given the speed they will be doing and the imminent left coming up?

If it's dry... With the speed they'll be arriving definitely not flat out on the right hander. The wide-angle of the onboard camera makes the road look a bit wider and straigher than it actually is. The left hander after it is nothing to worry about, as the speed will be broken by this first corner and that corner is faster.

Very interesting section. Also the left hander after 9min05 caught my eye, tricky one, and no margin.

But of course I'm just an amateur who makes his own idea from the onboard footage, I could be totally wrong.

Just watched the video off SS4/7 as far as I can make out from 6:57 to 8:38 on the video would be in the no public area.
