Do R3 need an other mm big restrictor?
    20 more hp is good.

What are they doing to move towards that goal?
I dont know, but Toyota should be well onto Rally3 with having the best road car for one already in the 4wd GR Yaris.

Yes from a sales perspective, a GR Yaris Rally3 kit would be perfect both from a rally and roadcar perspective.
The starting point from a GR Yaris is better than the old Gr N cars.

At some stage maintenence cost will start to rise.
At least 50% less maintenence budget than a Rally2 is important for a lot of privateers.

Not sure if 1 mm more is enough to start that spiral, maybe the tech spesialists here have more to add.

Not sure, as the rally car would have less power than the road car, also it would make more sense to make the rally3 car based on a normal yaris (cheaper body parts)

Cause the evo and Impreza crowd need a new car to woow. The gr N cars are soon youngtimers.
The GR Yaris has a well funtionimg aftermarket tuner market. Several cups with different tuning are also around.

A Rally3 that looks like the new Rally2 car that is just shown in Japan, would be a nice addition to the family!
