On relatively clean tarmac Rally4 was faster than Rally3, that's why they increased restrictor size for 4wd one

And I think we will see more Rally3 cars in Finland.
Printsport looks to have bought at least 2 more cars in addition to the one they had. But some could also be some missing registration on the Rally3`s in Finland.
Will be cool to see the differences in time btw Rally2, 3 and 4 on a winterrally!
If the Rally3`s do well, it might tip drivers sitting on the fence, into a Rally3 car both in Sweden and Norway.

Finland doesn't have an overall championship, instead there's five sub-championships where SM3 is only for Rally3 cars so I think the local ASN has expected lots of these cars when they have given them their own championship. N5, Rally2Kit and Group N cars will form SM2, but it will be interesting to see how the Rally3 cars compete against them. In my opinion they could have been in the same class as well. Maybe it's a way of motivating young drivers to buy a Rally3 car instead of a Mitsubishi?

Smart of the finns, giving the new class a cup to fight for.
Up here we have adopted a version of the swedish system.
4 classes that will give a Norwegian Champion each.
International 2wd and 4wd, for cars still holding a FIA homologation.
Narional 2wd and 4wd for cars that no longer hold a FIA homologation.
So for Rally3 here, they have their own class, class 3. But they have to fight Rally2 on the cups and medals.
We used to have more classes that gave you a championship in the historybooks. But they had to simplify for TV, so they ended up with 4.

Or maybe cheaper entry fee for not driving for championship points?
