If i remember correctly, a top spec impreza Gr.N from Tommi Mäkinen Racing costed over 100K with spares.
A Mitsubishi Evo X R4 costed 120K, again, if i remember correctly.
But most Gr.N imprezas costed from 70-80K, probably "clean".

Note that the Renault will be a pure customer operation for the Clio Rally3 as they have no in-house rally team to run it. Unlike M-Sport (Poland) which did the Fiesta.
Any ideas which teams may buy/run the new Clio for customers apart from Chazel and Fun Meca Sport ?Last edited by Fast Eddie WRC; 2nd December 2022 at 16:03.

They will build 1 Rally3/week. I'm sure there will be a waiting list. I know there are a few of them ordered for the Netherlands.

But Rally3 is not relative to N4. In a lot of countries back in the day, the group N was a top tier car with which you could fight for overall victories/podiums. Now the Rally3 barely fights a Rally4 car.
Also with the N4 you could start on a low budget and step by step build it up to a top spec. With the Rally3 you are on 120 000 Euro from the get go.
So I don't think Rally3 replaces N4, it is it's own new group with it's customers.

You are right, but the era of N4 is gone. I mean the whole concept of having "stock" car and building better and better car is not technically possible due to macro-economical reasons. So the customers could be quite similar group ...

Croatia is nice in TV, but for the fans it isnt so great. Waking up at 2:30 to watch just 2 passes of SS9, cuz there is just NO entrance to the stage
