    You can only beat who's in the event.

    And the way Renault have been raving about the results of their Rally3 in its opening events (on social media) I thought it was only fair to put it into context.

    I have just returned from the rally. In my opinion the debut of the new Clio in ERC was far from impressive. Armstrong was faster on all stages by far and Soria couldn't even defeat local drivers in their Fiestas. Finally, he rolled after flying finish of SS7 and was out of the rally. Unfortunately Soria doesn't have much experience in 4WD cars. Let's hope he makes some progress in the rest of the season.

    On the other hand, the 10th position overall in Antibes shows that Clio Rally3 has good potential:

    Until the retirement, Soria was always faster than polish drivers except puncture on SS 3.
