SS Likenäs road condition on Saturday afternoon. Road surface has still ice, but it's melting and the forecasted overnight rain is yet to come. Also entrance roads are getting soft. #WRC #WRClive #RallySweden

Yeah that's what he could say. But you know when he does "simple explanations" like this it invites for simple questions/replies to him. Like: "You are failing at both at the moment."

I still remember his words before Monte: "We have the best car, so we also need(ed) the best drivers." (which they got according to him). Certainly a very confident thing to say, which might not age well. So far it certainly hasn't, but it's early in the season.

Well, I was also one of those that was convinced manu champs was easy win for Hyundai seeing Toyota lineup compared with theirs before Monte.

Kind of reminds me of Matton at the end of 2016 a bit.... when after VW quit he said he already had his team of drivers and was "maybe" only interested in talking with Ogier. (but wouldn't let him test the car). 6 months later Ogier was leading WDC in another team, Latvala was fighting for the same title with Toyota and Mikkelsen was driving the Citroen after Lefevbre had no pace and kept crashing and Meeke was crashing while having pace.

Point is that Adamo is known to make decisions immediately if something doesn't work out. Typically on Sunday evening after a rally where something hasn't gone right he is already kicking drivers for next rally (Mikkelsen like this 2 times, Loeb now after Monte) or entering I20WRCs on local rallies for extra testing.

So wonder what comes tomorrow. Tanak driving some gravel rally? (he is already entered in one though)

Weather forecast for tomorrow's sole special stage, SS Likenäs 2 Power Stage, looks like one in which you'd normally prefered to stay at home. Heavy rains with wind. If all that rain would come down as snow, it'd be 20-30 cm of heavy snow

Τanak is doing brilliant job so far.Fastest hyundai, after a big crash,in front of Ogier with a yaris, while he is not really confident with the car.

True, but in face of Evans fantastic speed we can already tell that the Yaris is still the fastest car overall and that Ogier concistency is not enough anymore to keep him at the top; being also beaten by a 19 y.o. kid on his 2nd outing in a WRC car says it all.
