    They need Edwards and Cave to make BRC1 viable.

    Even so, 2 full time entries in the top class would surely point towards it not being viable

    What’s putting people off competing for the top honour in UK rallying then? I can’t remember the last time the top class of BRC was so poorly contested in terms of full-season entrants - ‘94 maybe?

    Seems guys just want a bit of fun on local events and dont want to commit to a full championship (and esp one with overseas rounds).

    Ah OK, so do competitors have to register for the whole championship then? Instead of doing a few rallies at their leisure...

    No, but I assume the costs of entry are higher on BRC events than smaller local ones.

    Well they've assembled a new media team.......whether they'll have anything interesting to report on is another matter.

    Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???
