Just that he’s the one who might care about winning the event, for it’s his local rally

If the schedule is like it was last year (and it probably is) then they have plenty of time for testing different setups.

Anyway, during this long break, they have already done testing, I think most of them go for the rally and speed.

Tanak and Toyota don't need more testing on Finnish roads since they test there all the time with "unlimited" test days and since it's his local rally he will go for win.

All the other teams have very limited testing on similar roads. They have to use test days for that and historically have been reluctant to do that "only" for one event. So they go to Estonia mainly for testing which the event (schedule) is specially made for. Hence they will not care about fight for positions. Though for sure they will try to use others as a reference for evaluating setup changes.

I imagine WRC+ will be asked to do a proper job as the Rally organisers will want to show off the event. I hope so, anyway.

They can also sort their locations for when its part of the WRC.

    SS 5/7 Rüa

    capacity: around 3000
Truuta is the most innovative spectator area where thousands of rally fans can follow the driving of each rally car for more than a 45 seconds.

The various rally elements built in the Truuta forest park and the natural slope will make spectating very easy. At Truuta area rally cars can jump, fall from the plateau and enjoy curves with varying speed and inclination.

Now that's more like it. Instead of SSSs filled with donuts and other nonsense, this is the proper way to make rallying attractive for the masses.

It's not going to be full All Live. Locally produced live stages (not all) and some All Live stuff thrown in is how I've understood it, probably on free of charge side. It'll still be a nice way to follow the event.

Based on the TV guide for Kanal2, they'll show the opening ceremony, SS1/3, SS5/7, SS15 and podium ceremony. So four stages are broadcasted on Saturday and only the city stage on Sunday.
Never stop dreaming because one day it might happen.
