What's your opinion of the 'overtake button'???
In recent years systems like DRS, push to pass, and Super Formula's OTS have been adopted by a number of different series. This is usually with a view to increasing the amount of passing in a race, making it more entertaining for spectators.
When DRS was first introduced in F1 I felt it was a bit gimmicky but I was willing to give it a chance given how little passing there was. I understand that dirty air is a real problem for cars with that much aero, but DRS doesn't really seem to have made a huge difference. I also feel like it cheapens the racing a bit when you know that every overtaking maneuver is mechanically assisted.
What do you think of DRS and other systems like it?
