Without the time penalty, he would have been 5th at the finsh. When did that happen with Yokohama in an international rally?

It has nothing to do with the brand, but important to have more options for competitors to choose from.

The kid won, and had his international breakthrough!

Congrats Oliver, and the rest of the Solberg/Walfridsson klan!

Congratulations to Solberg, fantastic performance, would be nice to see more of him in ERC.

Solid job by Lukyanuk but all does not seem well in his camp.

Sesks possibly as impressive as Solberg given that it was his first event in an R5 car.

Great rally and scenery again. ERC facebook live worked pretty well here, would be nice to see them develop it further.

3 rallies, 0 wins. No wonder that his team wants him to stop crashing...

    Provisional ERC standings after Liepaja:
    Habaj (71)
    Ingram (70)
    Lukyanuk (44)
    Solberg (39)
    Lopez (35),
    Moura (28),
    Griebel (26)
    Sesks (25).

Don't recall C. Clark saying a word back then.

Note that Haninen did same kind of speeding in Finland the same year with suspension held together by straps.

Hi! Where are many questions regarding todays stewards decision and the penalty we’ve got. Anyone who ever tried to participate in rally knows what the fast repair between the stages means.

We had to stop on the road section to fix the brakes - the pedal was too soft. The time for liason was pretty small, as the average speed was higher then 60kmh including refuel, tire marking and multiple inhabited areas, with 50kmh speed limit. If you have no repairs or no tire change, when you just hardly arrive on time. We’ve checked that on the second loop. So we spend 15 minutes to fix the brakes and had to keep average well over 100kmh to be on schedule. In a rush we have exceeded in several points excessively and it was measures by gps. So we got penalty. We are really sorry for this situation, but the time allowed was not enough even for tire change. It was sunday morning with no traffic so we increased our speed. I understand that we broke the speed limits, but it is really hard to be under pressure when you can loose the position and the team relies on you.
