    With smooth roads without much loose on top Toyotas should do very well in first passes and Citroens struggle. How rough the roads get for second pass is a very good question. Also that downwards camber on the last picture is typically problematic for Hyundais, but it's just on one pic.

    The road surface there looks similar to that found in mid-Wales, not just the topography.

    Yeah. Some stages have sections like in Mexico or Turkey where you climb up through a series of hairpins or you drive stuck between a bank and a ravine. There's a lot of ascending and descending in almost all of the stages.
