Both Estonian JWRC drivers are missing (Poom and Torn)
(and same time official JWRC twitter account is mentioning that success of Torn in ERC Liepaja is good for Sardinia)

Route preview. Like mentioned earlier, almost all stage titles remained from last year but most are modified a bit. One of the most interesting additions is the river crossing at the end of Monte Lerno.

I'm thinking about pickems or other predictions...it's just impossible to predict anyone else than the top three guys to get onto the podium. Remember last year how much faster Neuville and Ogier were against everyone else, and how much faster Tänak has been lately compared to anyone else. For sure they could have a bad road position on dry weather, but at the same time they seem to find their way around big issues the best.

From the rest, it's difficult to set anyone above the others. Maybe Lappi will pull himself together? Maybe Latvala or Mikkelsen will finally be lucky on an event they have been competitive before? Maybe Suninen can keep up his pace for more than one day without mistakes? Evans, Meeke...? Even Hänninen? I can't decide. It' s just the top three, and then there's everyone else.

If it stays dry I don't have so much belief the top 3 will (all) be up there. Last year can't be compared with the wet conditions.
Sardinia typically also has much more road cleaning than Portugal.

People like Suninen, Lappi or Sordo could be really high up after day 1.

The biggest lottery is retirements/issues as we have seen in Portugal.
