    @krismeeke

    Gutted. We hit a massive rock in fifth gear which broke the suspension. Spectators said it wasn’t there this morning and must have rolled down from the bank. Same place as @JariMattiWRC

    Sometimes it seems that people keep forgetting that to have 3 or 4 guys in a few seconds, you need all of them to be going at their maximum. And having a six second gap is nothing you can really control, when the top 4 are going at it.

    Shit happens and the world doesn't stop.
    Never stop dreaming because one day it might happen.

    This is true. Though it seems some drivers are more at ease doing it.

    One particular thing about Rovanperä is that despite his age he has shown repeatedly this year that he can control the pace when he has a solid lead and doesn't get into a mad race for winning stages with crews who can't endanger him even when they go faster (like several times with Ostberg before). If Lindholm does one superfast stage and then loose minutes on the other then it's ok to let him be...

    That's the essential of the "Loeb/Ogier/<insert name>" is always lucky and <insert name> has always bad luck.

    "Luck" alone doesn't make them world champions.

    You mean repeatedly this year after crashing in the first 3 rallies.... there certainly was a lesson to be learned there.

    Now Tänak needs that Mikkelsen is doing well. If Ogier claims to 4th.. he is actually will end with 3rd. And if Mikkelsen and Breen are in front of Neuville... He will be 5th.

    But it's just saturday at the moment, and not even lunch yet.

    It does appear that the Polo is still the quickest car by a good margin. Must be frustrating for the guys in Mlada.
