Fiesher did not give up but in the end Breen won by 14,4 seconds. Also great performance by Damian Tourish with the Escort!

By the way... I haven't followed ITC in last couple of years but I remember that Irish events used to be some of he longest in whole Europe. Are there some new rules limiting the stage distance or how come that the rally is now maybe 1/3 of what it used to be few years back?

Galway was cancelled last year, I think the new compact format (3 loops of the same 3 stages) may well be in response. Judging by the entries, it worked. Let's see how the other rounds go; the next one should get a smattering of British championship entries too.

Good show from Armstrong, to say he's not driven for over a year, and great stuff from Fisher considering his sabbatical.
