Irish Tarmac Rally Championship 19
Galway the first round with Craig Breen adding WRC interest to a quality line up. Looks like being a great year with the likes of Alistair Fisher returning after a year off and some of the fomer WRC machinery drivers switching to R5 machinery. Only issue is there has been some controversy over R5 cars being converted to RHD.

The ITC deserves some online result system which doesn't look like from the 90'. Any student of informatics can do that nowadays.

Real shame Fisher had a spin on SS3. Breen into the lead and will be hard to catch as he gets used to the Fiesta.

Fiesher did not give up but in the end Breen won by 14,4 seconds. Also great performance by Damian Tourish with the Escort!
By the way... I haven't followed ITC in last couple of years but I remember that Irish events used to be some of he longest in whole Europe. Are there some new rules limiting the stage distance or how come that the rally is now maybe 1/3 of what it used to be few years back?Last edited by Mirek; 10th February 2019 at 17:55.

Great to see Alastair Fisher back for the 2019 season. He will certainly give the Moffett's some much needed strong competition.
Youngster Jon Armstrong was impressive here and is looking a very good future prospect.
Oh that's why. I thought that Sesks didn't wont to risk everything at last stage for another stage win and took it easy +19sec, same rhythm as Poom. But time bad cuz he crashed... "oi-oi-oi"
