Hi all i,m new here.
Devastating news regarding mandy, i too cant believe it was a fatal looking at the damage, the windscreen even looks intact, only thing i can think of is something entered the car and struck the driver.
Manus also stated at the end of stage 11 that he and his navigator got a hell of a fright half way through the stage when he hit a bump and the car reacted badly so it sounds like something was terribly wrong with the car/and or setup as it was a bump on the road that caused this fatal crash.

Has any reason been given for the actual injuries sustained? From the photos the cockpit looks fine (although the car is clearly in a bad way), unless something entered the car from the rear left or left side.
RIP, heartbreaking for those involved. Was a great driver and came across as a true gent. So sad

I have seen in my life cars looking barely damaged where a crew member died. There is a lot of things which can go wrong. Better not to speculate too much.

It'll certainly be interesting to see what he can get out of it.

Only Ulster and Cork left so a brave move but maybe Hyundai greasing the wheels. If Craig wins they will forget what he was driving earlier in the year...

The number of different R5 cars Breen has driven this year I have no doubt he'll adapt to the i20.
Hyundai have sold quite a few cars in Ireland and Breen using one could give them another push.
They may even become the new 'car of choice' over there if M-Sport dont get the Mk2 Fiesta R5 showing some good results soon..Chris Ingram (GBR) - Ross Whittock (GBR)
