Left paddle, push / pull?
I've noticed some of the WRC cars have a fixed paddle on the left side of the steering wheel. This paddle is shorter than the paddle on the right and is not used for changing gears but for quick wiper. However, the other day I saw a driver pushing it instead of pulling. Am I wrong or this paddle is also a push / pull paddle like the paddle on the right (push to downshift, pull to upshift). In that case, what's the function of pushing the left paddle? Maybe spray water on the screenshield?
