Oliver Solberg likely out with engine problem. Niki Mayr-Melnhof went off.

Congrats to Gryazin, his codriver and team for the rally win and the U28 title. Weve been fairly praising Rovanpera rally achievements but somehow tend to forget that Gryazin is also quite young and hugely talented; fingers crossed for his future. Congrats also to Emma Falcon for getting ERC Ladies trophy.

Sorry for Niki Mayr-Melnhof, he did a rather good performance at his first ERC rally. Well see more from him next year in ERC.

Big congrats to Gryazin, his pace was clearly the best of the U28's this year. He proved himself on both tarmac and gravel. But I think R5 experience over the likes of Ingram and Kreim must also have been a factor.

"Gryazin scored a near perfect score on his way to his championship success, scoring 154 out of a possible 156 points with class wins on Rally Islas Canarias and Barum Czech Rally Zln followed by two outright ERC wins on PZM Rally Poland and Rally Liepāja."

You cant argue with that !

I'm a bit gutted for Ingram, especially after he started the year brilliantly in the Azores on his R5 debut. But his serious illness in Canaries affected him for 3 months and was nearly impossible to compensate for.

It would've been interesting to see how close he might have been without this...

Yes, congratulations to Gryazin on another win in the last few months. He was undoubtedly the best young driver in this year's ERC. Moreover, if I'm doing my maths right, he will also take away the second place in ERC from Bruno Magalhaes.

He was on of surprise in Rally Liepāja for me. Thumbs up for his driving.

    How is that possible ?

Falcon and Munnings had same points before Latvia and Munnings did win Latvia.
