R4-Kit and R-GT cars will be eligible in the ERC 2 Championship from 2019.

That means R4 won’t run in the same category than R5. Well done. Hope it’ll be the same in the other FIA series and especially on the national championships.

What's R4-K ?

It's the actual name of the new R4 cars built on Oreca's kit. I believe they use this name to make a difference from the previous R4 (FIA N4 upgraded cars), which is still allowed in some series.

They announced that they will be doing 7 ERC rounds next year, no word on which they will skip, but I thibk it might be Italy as it is around Veszprém Rally's timeslot, and I think they will do that event again next year.
