There was sort of unwritten spectator rule few years back that you never go to the first stage of Monte because it won't run. This time it moved to the first morning stage...

I don't agree with that; gender or 'machoism' have nothing to do with it.
Lack of context in stewarding on the other hand... they're limiting more and more places so no wonder people feel they have to move around - if they allowed people to stand in safe spots (e.g. raised banks and walls) instead of blanket applying a rule, there would be fewer issues IMO.aka Rodger Davies

I really want to see pictures of a lot of fans standing in unsafe positions, what caused a stage cancellation. And I bet it's not too bad to cancel it.

I've stood on plenty of stage sides, and know some of the spectator zones and marshalls/safety crews can be a bit OTT.
However if I was in a massive crowd on a very fast high speed section and everyone was told to just move back a little or the stage is binned, what's the point in not moving? So you can massage your own ego/ claim you know better, just for the stage to get binned for everyone else watching in "safer" places or around the world. It's probably going to have a massive effect on the rally too, with the tyre choices made around needing studs for SS3.
It's pointless

1) Marshalls on site haven´t done their job.
2) Mouton didn´t do her job. Should have stayed at sight until they got further back. Instead she stopped at finish and yelled..."Reis vas pät pat kaar vas kut"
