Have you considered the possibility that the situation is really dangerous? I prefer cancelling a stage where spectators are really placed dangerous than to have a bad accident with spectators...

Huge audience too close to the road and as usual not listening to the safety marshals.

And I agree. Pepper spray those who do not comply.

What is actually positive is that ACM finally seem to take safety more seriously.

Tyre strategy now has changed completely and the guys who were betting for slippery conditions are now quite screwed...

The same as in Catalunya where Ott was risking it with the rain tyres and the most rainy stage was cancelled.

Am on SS5 and already getting told to move back despite there being a huge ditch between me and the road (and the bank being 1m up from the road). Needs a bit of give and take IMO...

There are certain events, Monte is one of them, where an arsey woman telling a bunch of testosterone fuelled guys having a macho cuture to do something is bound to make co-operation difficult. Maybe a new FIA Safety Co-ordinator is required?
