Fanboy bollocks - yes Ogier probably did veto Loeb signing but the Highlander principle applies - if you are the current 6 consecutive champ why dilute the focus of attention. SO learned well from SL

12 stages gone and Ogier only fastest on 2 ...and leads.

Like last season where he had many fewer stage wins than Tanak and Neuville ...and was Champion.

Fast but limited risks and very few mistakes.

there is only one thing that is relevant in rally, and that's stage times. all the rest are excuses.

Sweden is a right place to judge him.
its not tidemand's first monte, he was there in 2017.

there are no excuses to be slower in a wrc than someone with the same or even less experience in a r5 car. its just as hard and difficult for all the other drivers too.
his performance here is not going to help his career. he has not done a single good stage, he has made barely no progress. i didn't expect him to be on the podium, but to do at least a few good times.

its ridiculous. they have two days of rallysprint, and two days of small local rally.

they better had added thursday's evening stages to today. it still wouldn't be much, but at least it would look more like a decent world championship rally.

Sorry, shouldn´t answer this one either.

You have to look at whole Picture regarding Tidemand.

If you missed it I can tell you he said many times Before RMC he should only drive to learn the car. To be in as good positionas he could for RS.

With that in mind I´m not surprised at all. Also remember he has ONE shot at the beginning of 2019. That is RS.

After 2nd round, or rather, during, we can talk stagetimes. Or even overall...

Everyone continuing talking about Tidemand speed in RMC, please stop. You just make yourself a bit silly.

Remember that they need to drive 4 hours down to Monaco tonight.

Also better for Tidemand to finish with a whole car instead of using the budget on a wreck on the 1st event instead of more rounds, 8 was rumoured i think.

Neuville tonight: "Honestly, we also have to think about the championship, in this position it's not too bad. Not being first on the road in Sweden could be an advantage. " #WRC

Meeke was rarely slow in Monte in other cars (maybe you can count 2018, but he seemed to be playing it safe).
Your forgetting that loeb binned it after several stages hardly a fair comparisan. Again when compared to mikkelson you forget it was after he came back from being benched and probably told to get the car home. Try choosing comparasins where both drivers are going for it 100% and maybe you also forgot he was leading in corsica in 17 before engine failure and won in spain in 17 which is mostly tarmac. Loeb is also instantly quicker than mikkelson has been with barely a full days test in the car so does that say how good the hyundai is for an all time career psa driver to step in and be quicker or how bad mikkelson is?

if conditions are the same as last year , then even being 3rd on the road is a big disadvantage
