Good to see some names from the past in there, especially Thiry and Gardemeister.

argentina, mexico and safari are the ones ive missed but have attended all the rest at least once ... if you look how suninens car was in that ditch you wouldnt even try to argue. spectators should have tried to pull the car towards start and kalle smashing into suninen proves my point. Pushing that car out of that ditch would have taken more than two minutes , wasnt worth the risk and time loss for other drivers

I haven't attended too many rallies, but I have thought that there would be a warning of a crashed car regardless of whether there are any people helping it or whether it's on driving line or a bit away. For example now there was totally unnecessary damage to already crashed car. And suddenly seeing a car may cause the next one to crash as well. But I guess the French marshals know better.

i guess you can look at it both ways , but in the end i belive marshals made the right decision. It was only kalle who understeered straight into that ford. Maybe when they upload onboard footage we get some more information.

How was it in the ditch? I have seen and participated in almost "hopeless" situations to get the cars out of the ditches (you just send safetey marshall or spectator 100m before for safety). Here seemed to be a lot of spectators and if they could have been allowed to help, they would get that car out less than in two minutes.
