Since Mikkelsen's mistake was in the finish, spectators could have delivered the missing parts back to Mikkelsen and they would have been able to fix it back

What a surprise mknight to the rescue rushing to defend his poor helpless Mikkelsen.

I see he said he thought it would be flat but it looked quite like a lapse in concentration, which wouldn't be the first time. Maybe he saw a tractor a minute earlier and had some bad memories?

I've seen a driver and codriver walk 5km back into a stage from the end to collect a wheel they left behind, so they could patch the car up and limp to service. Quite funny really but it worked.

    Good company then

As I wrote it was a mistake. But it's just epic to bring out Sordo within seconds when he managed to crash out on exactly same stage and from exactly same position (3rd), 12 months ago.

I am 100% sure he didn't realize that and was just looking for a quick troll post. Just as GravelBen is doing.

Actually, rules say that you have to bring any and all tyres fitted in the car back to service / tire change.

Let's all of us demand from WRC+ for them to make a button that switches off the commentary so we can enjoy the rally without screamy voices that speaks louder than the co-drivers.
