Can't understand why Bertelli and Greensmith had the extra lights mounted on their Fiestas. There is no reason to risk damaging them. Plus, they come with some aero penalty. Maybe they didn't know how to mount them and preferred the mechanics doing it for them.

Ogier needn't be so down. He scored almost nothing here last season and still won the title.

I guess Ogier just realized that the C3 isn't the friendliest of vehicles available...

Adamo will he dare to ask Loeb to lift the foot for Neuville?
Well ahead of his tenth place on the road, Elfyn Evans scored his second scratch of the afternoon and is back in fifth place after the ES7. Teammate Teemu Suninen remains leader of the event with a reduced lead of 5.0 on Jari-Matti Latvala and 13 on Ott Tanak.
Sébastien Loeb has gone back to 6th. The nine-time champion precedes Kris Meeke and Thierry Neuville, only 8th. Forced to open the road after the abandonment of Ogier, with a reduced aero following the loss of his right front wing and still very few nails, it will be difficult for the Hyundai driver to win more places in the regular . He would be in a very difficult position tomorrow. Will Hyundai then play it tactically and ask his star Seb Loeb not to attack too much in the last stage to let Thierry pass in front of him in the standings and thus trace him tomorrow? Answer in one hour, the start of the 8th special being scheduled at 17:14. (ODW)
