I know it's a bit cliched, but I'm fancying a visit to Colin's Crest. Is it simply the case of turning up and parking here https://goo.gl/maps/kVgty11Hb672 (first image) before the stage starts, or is it here https://goo.gl/maps/4ZVE8fsiHsz (second image) and then a three-hour walk?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Rally Sweden magazine (page 16) says "slightly inaccessible location, which requires a long walk or ATV."

From what I remember is hours walk and poor visibility if you are not there at least 3/4 hours before stage start. That spot has become like a stadium with folks practically living there in tents and closing off the best spots to view.
    Have a great day, Rob

First option has two big parking areas, then take ATV ride to the stage, non stop running, 40-50 sek if I remember correctly. Second option is tricky, we managed to drive the road quite close last year but there is only roadside parking available and the walking distance really depends from how many cars are there parked before your arrival.

First place and its just about a 20 minutes walk from the big road to colins crest. Was there last year and had no problem finding a perfect place about 1 hour before the start of stage. There are plenty of people but because of the campingsite-like area there is much space between. I have left it out for about 7 years as I feared also the mass of people - but it was a very good decision to go there last year. Simply crazy and lots of action. Will probably do it again this year.

Looking for any spectating tips for the Vargåsen stage? Not too much of a walk from spectator car park. Spectator area 1 looks the best I would say?

Okay, that's great, thank you. I plan to drive to the car park that is closest ( link one in my original post ) for an hour before stage start and then hope to catch the ATV or walk to 20 minutes – if I understand correctly.

    Looking forward to it.
