Stay away from the side of the road when the safety cars (especially Michèle Mouton's car) are on the special stage.

If you are not a WRC+ user, take a look at these onboard videos, it gives an idea on where people are staying in special stages:

It's both hard and easy to be fair.
There are many parts of the stages without marshalls (I assume you want to get in for free, and be able to stand where you wish). However, with a winter like the one last year, it takes time and energy to get there. The roads to the stages that are prepped will be crowded. So you'd need to find an unprepped road, which leads to the risk of getting stuck. Or walk long distances in deep snow.
Either that or get on the stage the day before, park up in any kind of small road and then walk on the stage.

    Hi Arturo,

If you spent money to come to Rally Sweden you also must be able to afford Rally pass. So you don´t have to try to sneak in all the time. Should say you´ll fail in the end.
Maybe at Rally Finland in the summer it´s possible, but in Sweden in winther no way.

Per, where did he mentioned that he did not want to pay? To me it looks like he does not want to spectate in designated crowded places. Which is a whole different story. I could be wrong though...

It's quite simple. Buy a rally pass, see which access roads are possible, and get to the stage. Make sure you arrive in time, as during the last 30 minutes before the stage starts you are not allowed to be on the road anymore. Also the access roads are often jammed, a lot of people are coming to watch the event. It's better to be 1,5 hour early than 10 minutes late... Always listen to the stewards, in Sweden they are very reasonable. If they say something is not OK for them, there's a reason for it. Also when crossing the road during a stage, remember that cars start every minute or two, but one can be slower than another or can make a mistake. So there's absolutely no guarantee that you have a full minute after a car passed. Try to listen to what's coming, but remember that the sound of the cars is more quiet than in other events, especially with fresh snow. Also the later R5 cars (especially Fabia) are very quiet which makes them a bit more dangerous...

And last but not least, NEVER sit down during a rally. When a rally car goes off at 145kph, it means 40 meters per second. There's already very very little time to react, but if you sit down it's completely impossible to make a reaction.

Well, using the word "sneak" means in my world he´s too stingy to pay for being on a stage.

Heading back this year again. Have been planning on going to Hof-Finnskog stage on Friday morning and get 2 stages here and hopefully get back to torsby for the evening stage. I've never been to Hof-Finnskog stage before and I know with weather and traffic I can't go by Google maps for times. Anyone been this route before know if its possible in the time scheduled?

You can do it if you stay to see only the 20 first cars. Distances are not so long from Torsby.
