Everybody knows Lukas speed, so his performance was not surprise. For Sordo this rally was really difficult. Stages on Barum are very difficult and with wet weather condition even more harder. He has no experience with R5 car, he did only few kms on two tests before the rally. And that tests were mostly on dry tarmac. If there will be no rain and dry conditions, I think his performance should be much better. But with this conditions and without experience with this car, it was almost impossible for him to drive on limit and risk any crash. And Kopecky with Lukas are the top drivers in R5 cars, there is not so many drivers with so much experience with that cars, knowledge of the road and speed...

I'd like to point out that for Jakeš it was also first event with Fabia R5 with his pre-event test being only on dry road. Of course Jakeš is local but on the other hand he's not a works driver, a winner of a WRC event and he didn't have a professional top co-driver (plus questionable impact of using Hankook tyres).

I strongly believe that Sordo actually was handicapped with the car but on the other hand it felt like Sordo more or less just cruised through the event without taking any risk. Maybe just my feeling of course.
