I've said it before, but in 2018 it should be streamed live on the website. Highlights just aren't good enough anymore. Especially as rallycross is a 'made for TV sport'.

Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

I think the BRX site might be a year behind! I just checked my Sky box and it recorded the Lydden coverage on the 26th April. I think that may have been the second showing of the Lydden coverage, as I'm sure I missed at least one before I set it to record.

Forgive the double post, but I watched the post-race paddock walk video on Facebook last night where they briefly spoke to Susan Hansen...

Contrast that with Croft yesterday which was amazingly hot when normally its Baltic even in summer!

Sadly could not attend the latest round of the British series yesterday due to a family illness however looks to have been lots of action in the heat and dust.

Take a look at the spectacular vid of Godfrey barrel rolling the Mirage and luckily sounds like he was ok despite the flames. Hope to be able to attend my "local" circuit the next time the championship heads north in July.

Interesting to see Mad Mark just hang a big left to go over to the upturned car.
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

Kudos to both Steve Hill and Mark Watson for getting to Julian as soon as possible.

Perhaps it's just the camera angle, but I wouldn't have parked my car that close to a damaged car that just had flames coming out of it!

On the other hand though it must have been a bit dodgy for the marshals seeing a Xsara driving towards them I think all dealt with the situation very well, Steve Hill absolutely pegged it over there despite probably having a clear view of the flames.

There may not be that many regular entries in it this year, but at least the Supercar class is close!

Didnt make it to Croft on Sunday as a combination of foul weather and a domestic obligation/brownie points scorer (decorating) meant I didn't risk body or camera. Julian Godfrey won through in the Mitsu laying to rest the demons of last time out at the circuit.
