Hi! Newbie here!
I'm travelling to Sardegna for my first WRC event, can't wait. I was wondering if there is a thread from previous years for suggestions for best viewing spots for spectators, transport suggestions etc. Im staying in Alghero. Do I need to hire a car? Or do the event organisers provide transport out to the stages? Alternatively, what are the chances of ride-sharing? Is getting a gold pass worth it?
Thanks for your help.

Hire a car
Gold pass for spectators...
I've not been as a spectator but I cannot recall if they checked for tickets or not.
See if anyone in the forum is going - reach out on twitter too, find some #WRC people who are fans.
Find previous thread in this forum a few pages back but someone will advise here the best spots! Check website for guides.GG: "I'm stinky! I needa good shower and nice bowl of pasta!"

I asked around as I'm going this year and you don't need to buy a pass to access the stages. That pass gets you an 'exclusive' area to stand and I think maybe some parking. But you can access for free. I think the only ticket you need to buy is the SSS one. I don't know but I assume you can buy that maybe in the service park or on the gate?

Bulacia is 17y (just like Rovanperä), so NO for both.

It was on qualifying stage, he rolled the car and it was said that he won't be able to start the rally. But team managed to repair the car and he did start and dominated drivers like Rossel, Gryazin...
