Not at all but I am sure that the forefathers of many members know what happens when a determined Kiwi arrives in town.
By the way, some of us rate Dani pretty highly too, a level playing field would be a nice thing to see.

I know it`s just shakedown and as such means nothing but in WRC 2 at least until Pedro Heller I think all drivers are on Michelin tires

Simple answer to that - the team thinks a Spanish driver is better marketing value in Spanish-speaking countries. Pretty sure thats all there was to it with those rallies.

Everybody already forgot how fast Sordo was on gravel last year, only plagued by technical issues while Paddon also made some mistakes (Argentina and Sardegna). And looking at Sordo’s two gravel podiums this year, seems like a good choice. Also, if you want to split the season in half you need to give gravel rallies for Sordo, and I think Mexico, Argentina and Portugal are the best for him.

    Craig Breen

Shakedown finished, but the time doesn’t reflect how happy we are with the car. The setup wasn’t right in the morning, but we found the sweet spot on the final run except the road had deteriorated.
