Rally GB Forum 25th october , Meeke, Breen, Wilson, Evans etc
25th October 2017, Chester Racecourse, 19.30 hrs
2017 Rally Forum returns to the Iconic scene of Colin Mcrae’s 1995 WRC Victory at Chester racecourse.
Unique showcase of all 4 manufacturer teams in one venue.
Malcolm Wilson already confirmed as a star guest in a special celebration of the British Rally Legends.
The 2017 Rally Forum welcomes new partner GRAHAM Construction to bring you up close and personal with the stars of the stages both past and present, brought to you as ever by Broughton-Bretton Motor Club.
Returning for the 5th time the forum aims to capitalize on the great generosity of stars and the public and increase the amount raised for Air Ambulance, but never to stand still some changes are afoot.
Hosted as ever by the ebullient Howard Davies there will be a new co-host this year in the form of former Mitsubishi factory driver Ryan Champion, Ryan being no stranger to interviewing guests in his role on the weekly podcast Absolute Rally, we will also be streaming live on RallyFm.net
The first segment will again showcase the British Rally Championship but with the added flavour of Opel factory junior team driver Chris Ingram, Iain Campbell GB Clerk of the course will also be joining us in this segment.
The World Rally Championship again takes the centre segment of the evening and already all four registered Manufacturer teams have committed to sending drivers from their ranks. In what has been a thrilling season this is your chance to see the crews up close talking about their 2017 mounts, with Kris Meeke and Craig Breen already confirmed.
Our Legends will have a British theme this year and we’re delighted M-Sport supremo Malcolm Wilson has kindly agreed to join us. It was at the forum in 2016 that Malcolm was on stage with Sebastian Ogier and little did we know that the mutual admiration would see Seb join the team in 2017 and mount a manufacturer and driver title challenge. Joining Malcolm will be Welsh legends Gwyndaf Evand and Geoff Jones.
Gary Hughes, GRAHAM Construction regional director, said: “We’re proud to be able to support this fantastic event which will be coming to Chester in October for the second year running.
“Our sponsorship will provide the funds required to support the event and essentials such as the air ambulance services, clearly a key safety service that is absolutely required at this kind of large motorsport event.
“GRAHAM Construction has a strong regional presence and have recently completed Chester’s innovative new bus interchange. We were keen to get involved with this precursor to Wales Rally GB as it will be hugely beneficial for the City of Chester attracting many new visitors and providing a valuable boost to the local economy.”
Tickets priced at £12* available from September the 15th via Nia Jones on 07777659186. Ample free parking available at racecourse
--Ends— * Plus £2.50 P&P where required.
