I just noticed that if Tanak and JML can finish 1st and 2nd, it will be this season's first 1-2 result for any team. It has been so even season in this respect (and 2017 too, there was also only one 1-2).

So that brings Tänak back in the middle of the championship fight... What a dramatic rally.

More interesting it's about team-orders in Msport. Will only Evans drop a position or Teemu too

Ogier could also very well get back into the top 10 to scrap up some points, especially if there are team orders + eventual problems/retirements.
Neuville will go flat out in the Power Stage, nothing to lose, it will be interesting.

It seems that Ford and Hyundai have chance to salvage at least some semi-decent points from this event. But for Citroen it is already another disaster.
If it's enough reduction to enable some extra Rally1 cars with WRC Promotor help it's only a good thing if only for the next 18 months. WRC Promoter’s Senior Director of Sport, Peter Thul added:...
